Prague is one of Central Europe’s most beautiful cities. On foot (the best way) you’ll be compelled to stop at least a few times to take in the wonderful variety of architecture — from the Charles Bridge to the world’s largest ancient castle. It also happens to have a remarkable food and drink scene and is rightfully known as one of the best (and cheapest) sources of beer east of Germany. Believe it or not, there was a time in Toronto when opening a bar or restaurant on West Queen West seemed like a foolish thing to do. And then, just over 10 years ago, the Drake Hotel turned the corner of Queen West and Beaconsfield into a destination.
